No Saab car or SUV can be driven safely without them. That's because, steel, aluminum, or cast-iron points of direct connection between chasses and front wheel assemblies that they are, they're integral parts of the suspension system. Smooth movement (owing to connection to the steering knuckle via ball joints) isn't possible otherwise. Nor is movement without damaging metal-on-metal contact (bushings on the control arms help prevent this and reduce noise and vibration in the process).

They're OE-quality. That means they'll be up to exacting Saab standards, whether they're the bolt-in, unitized, or press-in kinds.
