Shop Fan Parts for Saab in Saint Paul MN
Replacing the fans in a Saab vehicle -- it can be pretty expensive. A radiator fan can run you $50 to $500 on average, while an AC condenser fan can average $300 to $600. Expenses can be even worse when quality's an issue, too, like with aftermarket fan parts.
You're in luck. Here, you don't have to worry about either. Shop with us; you'll see why Saab drivers across the US prefer our online parts store to the rest.

Fans and Fan Parts 101
Car or SUV, your Saab should have two fans.
One is a cooling fan for its radiator. It's usually electric, and often turns on and off as needed. What it does is draw cool air through the system. This helps scatter the heat that its coolant captures from the engine running, in turn, helping the engine work better.
The other is a condenser fan, for the car air conditioner. It helps keep condenser heat to a minimum so that the condenser can continue converting refrigerant from gas into a liquid, like it's supposed to.
Both fans can develop problems from use, and as they age. There are symptoms that'll tell you when they're failing, or once they've gone bad. A Check Engine Light on the dash is one, but it's generic. Better signs include loose or corroded connectors, open wires, shorts in the wiring, blown fuses, a faulty switch, and a bad relay or control circuit. Also, the air in your cabin may not cool off properly, you might smell burning when running the AC, or the engine may overheat.
