OEM Saab Pulleys
Why Buy Saab Pulleys from Countryside Volkswagen?
They're critical to keeping many car parts working.
Your Saab vehicle has two main types: crank and accessory. Most are driven by a main crank pulley; it's bolted to the crankshaft under the hood of your car or SUV. How they all work is uncomplicated: as the engine runs, its crank pulley rotates, transferring said motion to other pulleys via the serpentine belt or V-belt. Said pulleys include accessory, idler, and tensioner. The first help run the alternator and power steering pump. The second are substitutes for accessories or part of the serpentine belt system sometimes. The third, also called drive belt tensioners, work similarly to idler pulleys.
We only sell OEM-quality parts.
Our pulleys are Saab brand, so they'll be manufactured up to the exacting standards you've come to expect from your favorite Swedish automaker. Aftermarket pulleys, however, may not be.
They're guaranteed compatible with your Saab model.
They'll fit and work just like factory Saab pulleys. Buy a pulley from an aftermarket brand, however, and you can end up with something less dependable.
Our prices are affordable.
Since we keep do-it-yourselfers in mind, you'll pay less than list price -- sometimes, up to 35% off MSRP. That's a better cost situation than you'll get if you order pulleys from either a VW dealership or another online Saab parts store.
You'll get warranty coverage
No OEM pulley for any Saab car or SUV should have any defects in materials or workmanship. If you run into one that does, though, the coverage can help take care of things. That kind of peace of mind, pulleys bought on the Saab aftermarket can't necessarily give you.
So, if you're seeing the signs of bad pulleys, be sure to order new ones ASAP. Signs of a bad crank pulley range from a vibrating engine and alternator and power steering pump failure to transmission damage and irregular engine idling speed. Signs of a bad idler pulley range from visible wear and squealing sounds to a damaged bearing and general pulley damage. Signs of a bad drive belt tensioner pulley include grinding and squeaking, plus abnormal belt wear and belt-driven accessory failure.
